Why ... ?
Our new, prospective clients very often ask a simple question:
"Why should I go with Infotechnics?"
This question comes after we have demonstrated that we have:
the understanding of their problems and opportunities,
the skills and availability to take on the project assignment or outsourcing contract, and
the right price and service-level guarantees.
Rather than reiterating all the generic company information we conveyed at the outset ... that we have an outstanding record of project success, and that we're nice people and easy to do business with, and that we stand by our clients, and have good skills and low turnover, and we're privately owned, and in business since 1982 ... rather than reintroducing Infotechnics to our prospective client, we ask them one question:
Is Infotechnics the same kind of company that you use in the other major professional service categories: accounting, marketing and legal?
In other words, think about who are your accounting, marketing and legal service providers. If we look like them to you, then you should go with us. Because that's the kind of firm you've decided to partner with in other critical areas of your business. We know your industry, we know our technology, and we learn your business and make it more valuable.
Sometimes we get a follow-up question, or really a statement:
"There's another company that we feel can do the job. They're a little smaller, ... or they seem to have really hot skills in this area, ... or they cost a little less, ... and there's some inclination within our company to go with them. I need a reason to go with you."
We go back to our prior point. Can the other company make your business more valuable? Will they build exactly what you tell them to do, or will they get to the nub of the issue and help you determine just what it is that you should build, if anything?
Your accounting, marketing and legal service providers come to you with suggestions on what you might do to improve your operations and finances, or promote your product and brand image, or preserve the real and intangible assets of the company. On the other hand, a lot of firms can file a tax return, create a brochure, or review a contract, and will probably do this at a lower cost than your current service providers. But you don't deal with a lot of firms.
Your firm relies on accomplished and dependable providers of professional services that understand your business, that can step up to whatever challenges your firm will face, and that can help your firm thrive and survive.
That's why you should go with Infotechnics.
